The Blindness of Delusion and Confusion

Defining oneself as a Christian no longer characterizes what it truly means to be a Christian. Christian beliefs have become relative to the world. For many so called Christians the Bible no longer is the standard by which they believe; but rather the relativism of the world characterizes and defines their beliefs, not the Bible.

I find this very strange especially for the so called Christians as it relates to homosexuality. Homosexuality seems to be the one sin that both the Christian and the lost want to redefine as not being a sin. While gay pride parades are prevalent; where are the adultery pride parades, the thief pride parades, homicide pride parades? Why is it that homosexuality, abortion, and fornication are redefined as not sin but a lifestyle? It is telling that homosexuality, abortion, and fornication are all sins that attack the creative process of God and would ultimately lead to the destruction of God's creation. These sins go against God’s creation process of multiplying upon the earth, (Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.) To bring forth children, (Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.)

And to have the family as the corner stone of our society (Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.)

We know God loves His creation; but Lucifer, the devil, Satan hates everything of God; especially His creation of man, because man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). You discern for yourself what spirit is behind these sins and has blinded the minds of those who participate in them and condone them. You won’t have to look far. We have already been told. (2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.) The god of this world is Lucifer ( Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.)

Oh what blindness has befallen the minds of so called Christians that believe the lies of the devil. That claim to follow Jesus and His Word- the Bible. They condone and participate in homosexuality, abortion and habitual sin in general, without a thought given to repentance and forgiveness. It is strange for the so called Christian to claim to submit to God, yet live in defiance of Him. Claim that God is God yet He is in error on what is sin and what is not. To believe the Bible is God’s word, yet it is not without error. If one letter of the Bible is not true then the whole of the Bible is a lie. If God made a mistake then He ceases to be God and our faith is in vain. God (YHVH, Jesus) has much to say about sin, especially about the sin of homosexuality:

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

1Corinthians 6:9-10 9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Romans 1:26-28 26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

1Timothy 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Mark 10:6-7 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

It is indeed strange that some who profess Christianity do not follow the Holy Word. The Word of God is either all true or all a lie. Who is the created to judge the Creator? (Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?)

This article gives great insight into the blindness, confusion and delusion that false teachers, demonic influence, and Satan can use to deceive. (Remember the deception of Eve Genesis 3:1-6). Below are quotes from the article (in italics). Let us look at the blindness, deception, and confusion put into her own words.

Gods world answers the age old question that has stumped the greatest of philosophers ‘what is truth?’. Well Gods word is truth-(John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.)

“For the past three years, my father and I have been debating God's stance on homosexuality.” – Gods stance on homosexuality is clear, not up for interpretation or debate. See above scripture references.

“I have been praying, researching and meditating on the many emails, sermons and verses my dad has sent me. I always come back to the same conclusion. Love is love.” This is a weak argument. There are those that love to steal, love to kill, love to fornicate, love to sow discord, love to do drugs, prideful and lovers of themselves. No one would rationalize that these behaviors are to be excused just because “love is love”. God does in fact condemn some types of love (2Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,) and ( 1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. )

"Yes. I am. I am deeply in love. It is....not with a man." I had my speech ready, about fluidity, non-binary queerness, Lin-Manuel Miranda quotes, etc.” - Those that oppose God yet want to rationalize that they are actually acting in accordance with his Word will come up with all kinds of names to rationalize their behaviors ‘gender fluidity, non-binary, LGBT and now Q for questioning. That covers it all I guess. God is clear (Matthew 19:4-6 4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.) Jesus’s words not mine.

“Yet, I let my father's message of shame define me. I hated my body, sabotaged relationships, believed I was unworthy of love.” - It was not your ‘fathers’ message of shame that defined you, perhaps the Holy Spirit within you was grieved, and your conscious seared because of the sin you are living in. (1Timothy 4:1-2 1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;) It is important to know that Satan wants to isolate you and make you feel unloved. Jesus loves us even when we do wrong His correction is done out of love. We do well to remember –( Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: Hebrews 12:6-8 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.)

“Perhaps you have heard my father on the radio and it makes you want to go to sleep and never wake up. I love you. Your worth is untouchable. Find a good friend. Invest in therapy. Dance in the middle of the night and hold yourself accountable to the life you've always wanted. At the root of all this hate speech is fear. This is not your fear to carry. Release it.” - The answer is not in therapy but in God. Seek Jesus for he loves you. – (John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Psalms 103:11-12 11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. ) Also we have no phobia (fear) and are not scared of homosexuals. We speak out against the sin; not out of fear but in defense of the truth. Brandi and all those like her living in confusion and delusion need our prayers that the blindness be lifted and they see the truth.

“I am redeemed. I have surrendered to the beautiful mystery of God's love, have witnessed its vast complexity.” - Sin separates us from God. (Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.)

“My partner whispers to me as I fall asleep: "Your worth is intrinsic, your beauty immeasurable." Their love is divine, it is of God. I know this in my bones.” Knowing it in your bones is not the same as knowing it in the Spirit. (Romans 3:3-4 4For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;….. Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. ) Their love cannot be divine in the eye of God.

“I am praying for my father” - Strange that the one that is outside the will of God and living in sin is praying for the one who is in Gods will and following scriptural teaching; what a grip the blindness has upon her spirit. (Matthew 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.)

Clearly there is a blindness causing confusion and delusion in the church and the world. False teachers are spreading a false Gospel and it is taking root.

For those of us that have accepted Jesus Christ as savior. We are a priesthood of believers. Let us stand upon truth and spread the gospel. We are to point out sin with love, but compromise not the truth in doing so. Remember: Ezekiel 3:17-18 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 18When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Let us be faithful in sharing the truth and forsake it not. Perhaps identifying ourselves as Christian is not enough anymore. Perhaps in this world of relativism we need to define ourselves a Followers of Jesus Christ so that people know where we truly stand.

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
